What is this site for?
The primary goal of this website is to act as an independent hosting location for my art and the related things I work on, hopefully indefinitely.
Who am I?
My online handle is @goastghoat, but my nickname is Xol. I am a novice 3D artist with a desire to eventually have my work present in a game. My hobby projects (anything here) are all produced using as much free, preferably open source, software possible. I enjoy working on creative 3D modeling, CAD modeling and 3D printing. I have a deep interest in human interface devices for computers, like keyboards and mice. I also occassionally dabble in photography.
It is my belief that any media I create for public viewing should be easily viewed by as many people as possible. That's one of the things which drove me to make this site originally, before the Cohost shutdown kicked my ass into gear with actually populating it with media. I hate the way we need accounts to even look at things online anymore. It's also the driving factor behind the way I'm going to be building this site. It should (hopefully) be viewable from slow connections and weak computers, so that anyone around the world with a computer and internet can have a look at the site.

"AI" Generative Media
None of my work has ever, or will ever, use generative AI tools. No AI generated media will ever be posted to my website. I will not be discussing AI in any of my posts if at all possible.
