I've spent the last couple weeks working on music, resulting in a handful of small songs I feel proud of. This is mostly a playground for me learning the ropes with making my own music.

I've been playing around learning about how to create music with Reaper, these are the primary results of my efforts the last couple weeks. I made a lot of rough sounding songs earlier as experiments, which I may release later separately. Ever since I was a kid I've wanted to experience the joy of creating music that inspires, and while this is a small step into that direction it does absolutely feel like a proper step. I'm very proud of myself and I genuinely like these songs I made.
These 4 tracks are also experiments, but more focused on song writing and mixing/mastering. Now don't get me wrong, these are still amateur creations, but it's stuff I feel proud about right now. They are still inconsistent in terms of the sound quality, mix/mastering and my writing skills, but you gotta learn somehow.
You'll have to forgive me for the inconsistency, Reaper ended up crashing without saving a backup while I was reworking the master for the second time, so this is going to be the original master that I made on the 21st of March. In an effort to stop wasting time on old projects I'm just going to release them as-is and move on to some new songs where I can use what I've learned from these.
